CRITIQUE FOR LIMITED SHOW 2018

SUNDAY 30TH DECEMBER 2018

Judge: CLARE BOGGIA (Boughton)

I very much enjoyed judging at this very friendly show. Special thanks to the secretary Chris Cleland and her team for the lovely lunch, hospitality and judge’s gift – most appreciated.
BEST IN SHOW was the lovely whippet, LIKIRIA MOONSHINE SONG with RBIS going to my BPIS winner the well-presented Irish Terrier MAGAIRLIN SILVER DAWN AT GHYLLSLAP. RBPIS was the very attractive boxer, BONMAC JACKANORY

AVNSC VETERAN
1. RAJJINKA SAFE BET – 10 and half year old border collie in excellent muscular condition and gleaming jacket – she belied her years. Loved her head and expression, displaying kindness and intelligence. Good bone, super overall balance. Front markings can make movement deceptive but a truly sound dog that flowed around the ring.
2. DAMAI MASTER BENEDICT ShCM
3. DONMAR EBONY AND IVORY EJW09
AV IMPORT REGISTER
1. BRYANELLY WOODY AMONG NIZZANA. 7/12 Portuguese pointer who was certainly hard work for his owner. When settled you could see a lovely puppy with nice square outline. Good depth to chest and well ribbed. Excelled in hindquarters and nice to see a strong second thigh. Hard to examine head when kisses so freely given, but good ears and nicely round tips, cheeks well filled. Difficult to assess movement in this class, but when came into the puppy group with a different handler had a light easy trot and happy to award best Gundog puppy. What a shame he missed BPIS.
